This is one restaurant I used to really enjoy going to. My last three visits over a 4 month time period have resulted in my decision to never go there again. The food portions have decreased, the food is not always fully cooked, and the prices have increased. I decided today, my last and final visit, that this was it. No more. So does anyone else have any good reccomendations for a nice family restaurant that is still affordable?

I find that's the way with a lot of those franchise restaurants. They charge a fortune for the cheapest dishes they could possibly make (mostly the pasta dishes), then once they have established a clientelle, they start decreasing the portion size. Heck even DQ has decreased the size of their fries in their meal combos.
I think I would try to stick to independently owned restaurants like the Mediteranean. Sorry that's the only one that comes to mind right now. Too d**n early in the morning. LOL

MY favorite restaurants go out of business We used to love The Diplomat (the dip) but they are out of business. It was so nice when they were 24 hours! The only restaurant left is Swiss Chalet. They are okay. My big beef is that all the restaurants in the city serve italian!! (except Swiss Chalet) geez, anyone can make killer pasta or better lasagne than restaurant. I want to go for something else.. For the once every couple years I do want italian from a restaurant though, I like Vivaldi's. Nice ambience, I like the decor, and the food is great. The owner is nice too. Every time we've been in they go around with free stuff to try. Kind of on the expensive side, tho..their menu's online for viewing

What does anybody think about Boston Pizza? I have heard they are overpriced, and the food wasn't that great. What does anybody here think? Open for feedback.

Oh that is so disgusting, all the more reason for me to never try that place. I went to the Alehouse last weekend for my birthday, and wow was that ever a nice place to eat at. Very nice ambiance there, the waiters and waitresses were fantastic. And the food was not overpriced and tasted terrific. I would definitely reccomend this restaurant to others.

I don't really like Boston Pizza. They are really over priced and the food doesn't really taste all that good. For me it would be Swiss Chalet all the way.
